Student Development
Supporting Every Learner
The Student Support Team is committed to addressing students' individual learning and developmental needs. Through professional support services, appropriate curriculum and assessment accommodations, educational psychology services and home-school collaboration, we strive to provide tailored support and promote an inclusive school culture. Our aim is to create a caring and supportive learning environment in which every student feels respected, accepted and valued.
The school engages external professionals to provide a range of specialised support services tailored to students' individual learning and developmental needs.
Appropriate examination arrangements are made with reference to students' professional assessment reports, enabling them to demonstrate their learning outcomes under suitable assessment conditions.
Appropriate accommodations are provided in curriculum delivery, assessments and homework to cater for students' diverse learning needs.
Through the Education Bureau's educational psychology services, the school seeks to gain a deeper understanding of students' individual needs and collaborate with parents and teachers to develop appropriate support strategies.
Collaborative meetings facilitate communication among teachers and educational psychologists, enabling them to better understand students' individual needs and jointly formulate appropriate support strategies.
A variety of inclusive education activities are organised to foster mutual acceptance, respect and appreciation among students, contributing to a caring and inclusive school community.
Professional workshops are organised to strengthen teachers' and parents' understanding of students with special educational needs (SEN) and enhance their practical skills in providing appropriate support.
Brainwave analysis is used to examine individual students' brainwave characteristics. Based on the findings, personalised brainwave training programmes are designed with the aim of enhancing learning effectiveness.
Through close collaboration among teachers, parents and professionals, the Student Support Team is committed to addressing students' individual learning and developmental needs. We strive to foster a school environment characterised by mutual respect, acceptance, inclusion and care, enabling every student to grow and develop with confidence.
